Carys Tudor presents items to do with the home, planning and DIY on Wedi 3. She was born in Treuddyn by Mold but she now lives in Llansteffan in Carmarthenshire. She has been appearing on Wedi 3 constantly for 4 years.

Before then, she was a theatre designer for around 20 years, mostly with West Glamorgan Theatre. She then went on to present three series of ‘Gwaith Cartref’ in the 90’s which was a series giving DIY makeovers to homes, and then two series of Sgwadnewyddu.

Her interest in DIY started when she brought a house in Swansea in 1987, and she totally renewed it on her own over a period of five years. The work she’d done previously building theatre sets assisted her with the work on her house, and she learnt a lot about DIY through it.

Her home in Llansteffan is an old Victorian house, and the design is quite faithful to the house’s architecture.
